Microblading is meant to be a subtle, natural enhancement. It looks more natural on clients who already have semi full brow hair and are just wanting to enhance/perfect their brow shape. The more hair you have, the more natural it will appear.
Microblading heals best on young, healthy, and dry/normal skin. Oily skin and aging/thin skin is not recommended for microblading. The results will not heal as well, or look as natural. If you fall under these descriptions, you would be a better candidate for the combo/powder brow.
Combo/powder brows are perfect for clients who are perfectionists and just want a more filled in look. Think of how you look when you apply makeup to your brows. Combo brows have microbladed hair strokes in the head of the brow; powder brow is a soft gradient filled brow; and powder brow is a bit more saturated throughout the entire brow. This is a beautiful look for all skin types and heals very soft and beautiful.

Cosmetic tattooing is meant to fade over time. Factors such as skin type, lifestyle, age, metabolism, medications, and pigment color affect the longevity of the tattoo. UV rays can affect the rate at which these pigments are broken down. To maximize your brows follow the aftercare instructions and touchup your brows as needed; however I stress to my clients to let their PMU fade as much as possible before they schedule an annual touchup. Brows are meant to be low maintenance. NOT no maintenance. It’s ok to fill in your brows! You have the shape in place with the PMU, so use it as your stencil and fill them in as long as you can. This ensures skin health and avoids scarring. ALSO please note that final results vary and CAN NOT be guaranteed due to the nature of skin as it heals. A 6-10 week follow up appt is recommended where we can perfect and refine your brows.

Topical 5% lidocaine is used to help make you comfortable during your procedure, however pain tolerance is very individual and can vary from person to person. Having the procedure done during your menstrual cycle may increase your sensitivity.

I book enough time to discuss your needs/wants/vision at the initial appointment. If you are in need of correction work or have had your brows tattooed elsewhere, you will need to text/email me pictures of your brows before booking. If you show up to an appointment without prior authorization that I can go over your previous work, your appointment will be forfeited.

In the hours following your procedure, your brows will appear much darker and bolder than it will heal, due to the oxidation in the surface layer of the skin. Your brows could also appear warmer in color. You may experience redness, swelling around the treated area. This typically subsides or disappears completely within 48 hours.
AROUND DAY 3 YOU MAY NOTICE SOME FLAKING OR LIGHT SCABBING ON THE TREATED AREA, DO NOT PICK AT IT, DOING SO CAN RESULT IN LOSS OF PIGMENT IN THOSE AREAS. BROWS MAY APPEAR SPOTTY OR PATCHY UNTIL THE ENTIRE BROW HAS FINISHED HEALING. YOU MAY NOTICE THAT SOME AREAS MAY APPEAR VERY LIGHT OR EVEN TO HAVE LOST PIGMENT ENTIRELY AFTER THEY HAVE PEELED, THE EPIDERMIS WILL BE THICKER CAUSING MUTING, HIDING OR DIFFUSING OF PIGMENT UNDERNEATH. THE EPIDERMIS WILL NORMALIZE OVER THE NEXT 4-6 WEEKS AND SOFTENED PIGMENT SHOULD APPEAR MORE CLEARLY ON SURFACE OF THE SKIN.
AT 4-6 WEEKS YOUR BROWS WILL BE FULLY HEALED. WHATEVER PIGMENT THAT DOES NOT RETURN WILL BE ADDRESSED AT YOUR TOUCH UP APPOINTMENT OR IF YOU’D PREFER DARKER, BOLDER BROWS WE CAN ALWAYS ADD MORE COLOR OR DIMENSION DURING THAT APPOINTMENT!But remember it’s always best to err on the lighter side, rather than going too bold!

It is imperative and crucial to the final healed results to follow the aftercare protocol strictly.
*wash brows morning and night for 10 days with the cleanser provided at your appointment
*apply rice size of ointment to brows (don’t over do it) 2-5 times per day
*besides morning and night cleansing routine, you may not under any circumstance, get your brows wet. Keep your brows dry for 10 days. That means, no shower water, sweating, swimming, hot tubs, sauna, ocean water, etc.
*Do not pick or scratch scabs. If they come off prematurely, the pigment comes out with it.
*No makeup, lotion, sunscreen, skincare directly on brows for 10 days.
*No direct sun exposure for 2 weeks
*Avoid skin care with skin brightening/lightening/exfoliating agents on them.
